The field of Forensics is yet to develop to its full potential in India and one of the main catalysts is to expand and enhance the quality of knowledge base through Forensic Education. Hence, Truth Labs in collaboration with University of Hyderabad has started a one-year PG Diploma course in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science in 2009 to provide knowledge and understanding to Legal Professionals including Police, Judiciary, Lawyers, Attorneys, Forensic Scientists and others who are interested to enhance their knowledge and pursue their career in this field through distance education mode. In addition to this, Truth Labs signed an MoU with Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 2014 offering two-years Master’s Degree course in Forensic Science to provide best quality of education in multiple disciplines exploiting the full potential of the country’s oldest university having more than 100 departments. The unique feature of this course is more than 20 professors of various faculties belonging to the Schools of Science, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Management, Social Sciences etc., teach the students the relevant subjects besides over 10 seasoned forensic experts of Documents, Fingerprints, Cyber Forensics, Audio-Video Forensics, DNA, Polygraph etc.

Truth Labs has collaborated with BPR&D (Bureau of Police Research and Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi), the Apex Agency in India dealing with Training to the Police & Forensic Scientists to conduct Need based Training Programs to these functionaries. A National Workshop was organised for 40 foreign police officers from 23 different countries on the “Role of Forensic Sciences in Law Enforcement” at Truth Labs Headquarters in February 2012 under the auspices of National Crime Record Bureau, MHA, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Realizing the signification of improving Knowledge and skills in forensic science, Truth Labs organized training programs to the judicial Officers at Delhi Judicial Academy, Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy, Karnataka Judicial Academy, J&K Judicial Academy, Tamil Nadu Judicial Academy, Maharashtra Judicial Academy, Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Kerala Police Academy etc. during 2007-2012. Truth Labs in association with Microsoft organized a series of training programs across India on “Cyber Security: Issues and Strategies” at Delhi to the Police Officers of NIA, Enforcement Directorate, Delhi Police; at Hyderabad to the Police Officers of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, North-east Police; at NALSAR for the students of LLB, LLM and their faculty; at Jaipur to the students of Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur and Officers of PSUs of Government of India; at Mumbai to the Senior Managers of State Bank of India and other nationalized banks during 2014-15. Truth Labs also participated in the training programmes organized by National Insurance Academy, Pune to the officers of Public Sector Insurance Companies besides conducting focused training programmes to the officers of LIC, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd., Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd., and other insurance companies.

Bhardawaj for organizing a series of Cyber Crime, Cyber Law and Forensic related courses for Judicial, Police and Corporate Sectors under the advisory role of Justice M.N. Venkatachaliah and Justice S. Rajendra Babu, the Former Chief Justices of Supreme Court.

Truth Labs has organized a National Seminar on Polygraph / Lie Detector in 2009 in collaboration with BPR&D attended by many Judges, Forensic Scientists from across the country.

MoU was signed with Microsoft India for Research Based Study Report on Piracy & Counterfeiting Software in India

The detailed vulnerability study titled ‘Emerging Risks and Threats to Public Safety and National Security’ was launched after an in-depth study by Truth Labs, who tested 230 samples consisting of 174 in DVD form and 56 as preinstalled products in laptops, which led to a conclusion that different types of malware detected in majority of the samples are susceptible to wide variety of risks and threats related to Intellectual Property (IP) theft, data leakage among others.

Truth Labs organized a launch of Forensic Analytical Report on Piracy and Counterfeit Software: Emerging Risks and Threats to Public Safety and National Security, a Collaborative Project of Truth Labs & Microsoft, India at Delhi on 23rd July 2014. The report was launched by Dr. Gulshan Rai, Director General, CERT- In, in the presence of Dr. Gandhi Kaza, Founder Chairman, Truth Labs and other eminent dignitaries in Delhi. The report was commissioned by Microsoft India.
